Taman Pertanian Sabah
The Sabah Agriculture Park in Tenom was one of the stops we made during our recent three day trip to the Sabah interiors. This 500 acre lush botanical gardens was a not to be missed item on the itinerary due to the abundance of beautiful shots just waiting to be captured. Despite it being a scorching mid afternoon, we still managed to spend several hours exploring the park and capturing with the camera those few things that the naked eye would have merely given a passing glance. These were the photos that were the product of those sweaty hours underneath the burning sun – it was worth every drop of sweat.

some pic look underxposed…hehe
Arulz: Memang pening nak get the exposure rite masa tu coz tgh panas terik but ada pockets of clouds covering some areas here & there so for some of the the landscape shots ada area exposure ok, but ada some areas yg overexpose and ada jugak yang underexpose. How do u deal with this kinda thing yer?

As for the ovr/ under expose issues, use AEB – Auto exposure bracketing. But some prefer to shoot in raw and touch up later.
The exposure for the pictures look OK to me. But then, that’s coming from a fan.

itula…mmg nmpk de yg ok..de yg under.xde la smpai overxpose pun rsnyer,hehe…landscape time cmtu mmg agak susah maybe just control exposer underkan. so far klo landscape nmpk cmtu maybe org fhm.but maybe u forgot to change the setting smpai close up pic pun jd under.so kurang menyerlah warna die..x gitu..

RWM: Thanks for the tip. I actually prefer to try get it right on camera coz so malas to edit so many pics. Usually I just do minimal exposure adjustments, crop, put the watermark & resize – and even that takes up way too much time already so to shoot in RAW memang lagi la malas hehe.
Arulz: The close up macro shots tu amik kat bawah shade so in order to minimize the shake bila amik pics macro bunga2 yang kena tiup angin terpaksa la compensate dgn much faster speed which sometimes makes the exposure a little low. Dah le Olympus aku ni kalau ISO lebih dari 400 jer noise byk sgt so terpaksa keep ISO lower. Nanti la satu hari nanti bila dah beli macro ring flash baru syok amik pics macro outdoor camni
