KK Adventure Park
Went searching online a few days ago to figure out where to go and what to do last Sunday, and I came across the website for this adventure park in Kinarut. For a very reasonable fee, one can get the adrenal glands to go on overdrive by taking part on some of the challenges at this park. I signed up for the RM80 “Quest Promotion” which entitles adrenaline junkies to try out either the Quad Bike or Beach Buggy plus a selection of four other non motorised activities.
Getting suited up for the High Rope Challenge (and still able to smile widely at this stage)
____________________________________________________________________
The first (and most difficult leg) of the High Rope Challenge – walking across some wobbly wooden planks with nothing to hold on to except for that safety rope attached to my back. Notice how the wide smile has now been replaced by a timid, blood drained face trying hard to smile
_____________________________________________________________________
The second part of the High Rope Challenge – still daunting but not as scary as the first
____________________________________________________________________
The final part of the High Rope Challenge – probably the “easiest” of the three challenges but this one is the one I’m blaming for the sore thighs I got right now
_____________________________________________________________________
“Fuhhh legaa…” while wondering why on earth I signed up for this thing
____________________________________________________
Unlike me, Chell went across the High Ropes in a breeze… Cisss… Macam lipas kudung…
_____________________________________________________________________
Next came the Flying Fox all the way down from the height of coconut trees
_____________________________________________________________________
For the third challenge Chell went for the Wall Climbing while I took up the Bungee Trampoline. I was too chicken to try sommersaulting on the trampoline so instead I just jumped up and down like a little kid almost 15 metres up into the air
___________________________________________________
Next came the motorised Quad Bike ride along the long sandy Kinarut beach
______________________________________________________
And last of all, half an hour of shoulder breaking Sea Kayaking while struggling hard to go against the strong currents & big waves
______________________________________________________________________
After completing the activities that day, the rest of the sunlight hours was spent playing frisbee on the beach, swimming in the sea, goofing around and posing for photos, cheering on other people trying out the challenges at the park, making some new friends there and last but not least…..
…..waiting patiently to capture on camera the glittering golden reflection of a cloudless sunset by the sea.
Check out KK Adventure Park’s official website for more info on the range of activities available there

BM: Yahoooo Abg Bear nak cuba high rope challenge tu ek? Siap la nanti amik video dari bawah hehehe
Jr: Itupun sebab terjumpa kat internet – kalau tidak tak tahu pun tempat ni wujud
went there done that, but my photo definitely ‘unuploadable’ as they’r so embarrassing!i’ve the greatest fear of height but my friends somehow managed to get me to complete all the high rope task. but thank to them i manage to do something i never think i can. but if you love this kind of activity i would suggest Skytrex in Taman Cahaya Seri Alam. the games are tougher but with cheaper price
Diorcherie: Thanks for the tip – nanti someday kena try la Skytrex ni when i’m back in semenanjung
